Connecting your Wix webshop to Zineps: here's how

Good news for everyone selling through Wix: you can now connect your Wix webshop directly to Zineps. This makes processing your orders a lot easier.

No more retyping or exporting orders. As soon as the connection is active, your Wix orders flow into Zineps automatically, ready to ship. When you create a label, Zineps sends the track & trace information straight back to Wix. Your customer knows right away where their parcel is, and you have more time for the rest of your webshop.

This guide walks you through setting up the connection step by step. It takes about 10 minutes.

Step 1: Collect your details in Wix

To set up the connection, Zineps needs three details from Wix: your shop URL, your Account ID and an API key. The Site ID is optional.

Wix shop URL
This is the web address of your webshop, for example https://yoursite.wixstudio.com/shop, or your own domain if you've connected one. Copy the address as it appears in your browser when you view your live shop.

Creating an API key

1. Log in to Wix and go to the API Keys Manager. You can find it via your account menu (top right) → Account Settings → API Keys, or directly at manage.wix.com/account/api-keys.
2. Click Generate API Key.
3. Give the key a recognisable name, for example "Zineps".
4. Under sites, select the website your webshop runs on.
5. Give the key permissions for Wix Stores and eCommerce (read and manage orders). Without these permissions, Zineps can't retrieve your orders or send tracking information back.
6. Click Generate Key and copy the key right away. Wix only shows the full key once, so store it somewhere safe.

Account ID
On the same API Keys page, you'll find your Account ID on the right-hand side. Copy this as well.

Step 2: Add Wix in Zineps

1. Log in to Zineps and go to Integrations
2. Click New shop in the top right.
3. You'll now see an overview of all integrations. Scroll to Wix and click Add.

Step 3: Fill in the connection details

The Connect your Wix shop window opens. First, give your shop a name under Shop name, so you can easily recognise it in Zineps. Then enter your webshop's web address under Wix shop URL, and paste the Account ID and API key you retrieved from Wix in step 1. You can leave the Site ID empty, Zineps retrieves it automatically.

More options
Click More options for a few extra settings:

• Import orders from: determines from which point Zineps retrieves your existing orders. By default, this is set to the past 2 weeks.
• Process orders in shop: keep this checked if you want Zineps to update the order in Wix and send the tracking information back as soon as you create a label.

Finally, check that the toggle in the bottom left is set to Active and click Connect shop.

Step 4: Check that it works

Once connected, your Wix shop appears under the Connected tab. Your open orders are imported automatically. Create a label for a test order and check in Wix whether the tracking information appears on the order.

Not working?

• No orders showing? Check that the API key has permissions for Wix Stores and eCommerce, and that the key is linked to the correct site.
• Error when connecting? Make sure your Account ID and API key were copied in full and without spaces. Still stuck? Enter the Site ID manually.
• Lost your API key? Simply create a new one in Wix and update the connection in Zineps.
