Order import, carrier rules, labels and tracking

Shipping automation softwarefor webshops in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Zineps imports orders from Shopify, WooCommerce, bol.com and Amazon, applies your carrier rules, creates the label and sends the tracking update.

This panel is a static example of carrier rules on one order. It is not a live account and not a volume count.

What is shipping automation software?

Shipping automation software applies repeated fulfilment decisions, such as carrier, service, label and tracking message, to every order from rules a shop sets once. Zineps imports orders, checks addresses, books a carrier, creates labels and sends tracking updates for webshops in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Carriers named on Zineps pages

Shipping automation that uses the carriers you already ship with

Zineps connects webshops in the Netherlands and Belgium to PostNL, DHL, DPD, GLS, UPS, FedEx and Bpost. Carrier rules choose among those carriers when an order is imported from the shop.

The problem

Manual shipping grows with people, not with orders

Shipping automation software exists because each order hides the same small decisions: which carrier, which label and which tracking update. Made by hand, those decisions take time before they take money.

Every order passes through a person

Open the order, copy the address, pick a service, type the weight, download the label, paste the tracking number back. The time below is an example, not a measurement from a Zineps account.

Example: 90 seconds times 300 orders is 7.5 hours

The carrier is chosen by habit, not by the parcel

Whoever packs the box picks the carrier they know. Nobody compares price, delivery date and on time rate on every order, so the default carrier quietly handles parcels another one would deliver cheaper or sooner.

Mistakes surface after the parcel has left

A missing house number, a wrong weight or an address outside the EU without customs data shows up as a surcharge, a failed delivery or a customer email. Catching it before the label exists costs seconds.

Where you are today

Start from hand shipping or from several tools

Zineps shipping automation meets shops that still copy orders into a carrier portal, and shops that already use a label tool plus a separate tracking plugin. In both cases the first live steps are order import, carrier rules, labels and tracking updates.

Mostly manual today

You process orders by hand and it already hurts

Orders come from Shopify or a marketplace, labels come from a carrier portal, and tracking numbers are pasted back by hand. You do not need a warehouse system. You need the first few rules.

  • Start with order import, labels and tracking updates
  • Add one routing rule, such as heavy parcels to one carrier
  • Keep packing the way you pack today

Partly automated, held together with tools

You have a label tool, a tracking plugin and a returns form

Each one works. None of them agree with each other, and the orders that still need a person end up in somebody's inbox.

  • One order list across shops and marketplaces
  • Rules that cover carrier, service and international paperwork
  • On a demo, a walkthrough of orders that still need a person

What you get

Every step between checkout and the tracking update

Zineps covers the work between the order and the tracking update: import, address checks, carrier rules, labels, customs documents for parcels leaving the EU, and customer tracking. Returns stay in the same dashboard. Packing stays manual.

Orders from every channel, one list

Shopify, WooCommerce, bol.com and Amazon orders arrive in one place with weight and address attached. No exports, no copying, and the tracking number goes back to the shop.

Address checks before the label

Postcode, house number and country format are checked before a label exists, so a typo is fixed in seconds instead of after a failed delivery.

Carrier rules and labels

Decide once: cheapest that arrives on time, fastest for express, one carrier for heavy parcels. Zineps applies the rule across PostNL, DHL, DPD, GLS, UPS, FedEx and Bpost, and creates the labels.

Customs paperwork included

For parcels leaving the EU, labels and customs documents are generated with the shipment, to 200+ countries, so international orders do not need a process of their own.

Tracking updates, sent for you

Every carrier's statuses are mapped to one branded tracking page. Customers get updates without anyone writing them, and support hears fewer questions about where the order is.

Returns in the same place

Customers request a return in your portal, a prepaid label is created, and the return shows up in the same dashboard as outbound shipments.

Getting started

How does shipping automation work with Zineps?

Zineps shipping automation starts when an order arrives from Shopify, WooCommerce, bol.com or Amazon. The platform checks the address, applies the carrier rules you set, creates the label and writes the tracking update back to the shop and the customer. Packing stays with your team.

  1. 01

    Connect your shops

Shopify, WooCommerce, bol.com, Amazon or your own system. Orders arrive in one list.

  2. 02

    Automate the repeated steps

Turn on import, address checks, label creation and tracking updates first. They need no judgement, so they are safe to run from day one.

  3. 03

    Add carrier rules

Write down the decisions you make every day: cheapest that arrives on time, a fixed carrier for heavy parcels, a delivery day cap for the rest of Europe. Start with two rules.

  4. 04

Review orders that still need a person

On a demo we walk through your own orders that fail an address or weight check, and how a custom workflow can hold them for a person before a label is created.

Under the hood

What to automate first

Zineps shipping automation works when address data and weights are complete, because carrier rules can only choose well when the order data is clean. The panel is an example rule list for one order, not a customer result.

How automation works

Rules first, then the orders that still need a person

The two things every automation setup needs

  • Order import from Shopify, WooCommerce, bol.com and Amazon
  • Carrier rules across PostNL, DHL, DPD, GLS, UPS, FedEx and Bpost
  • Label creation and tracking updates

Automation does not remove decisions. It moves them. Instead of choosing a carrier on every order, you choose once, in a rule, and check now and then that it still holds. That only works when the data feeding the rule is clean, so address checks and correct weights come before clever routing.

The share of orders that ship without a person touching them is the number to watch, and it depends on your data. A missing weight or a country with no rule is a gap you can see on a demo. On that walkthrough we open one example order and show which rule would apply.

Example routing rules
  1. 01 IfCustomer paid for express

    UseFastest carrier

  2. 02 IfParcel is 10 kg or heavier

    UseDPD

  3. 03 IfNetherlands or Belgium

    UseCheapest that arrives on time

  4. 04 IfEverything else

    UseCheapest within 4 days

Demo walkthrough. An unknown address or a missing weight is held for review in the demo walkthrough instead of shipping. Example rules for one order. Not a live volume.

General explanation of shipping automation. Time and cost savings depend on your volumes, order mix and carrier contracts. The 90 second figure is an example, not a measurement. Real numbers come from a demo that uses your own orders.

FAQ

Questions about shipping automation software

01

How does shipping automation work with Zineps?

Zineps imports the order from Shopify, WooCommerce, bol.com or Amazon, checks the address, applies your carrier rules, creates the label and sends the tracking update to the shop and the customer. Packing stays with your team. On a demo we can walk through one of your own orders.

02

Which carriers and e-commerce platforms does Zineps support?

Zineps supports PostNL, DHL, DPD, GLS, UPS, FedEx and Bpost, and imports orders from Shopify, WooCommerce, bol.com and Amazon. The pages are written for webshops in the Netherlands and Belgium. Other carriers can often be added, so ask on a demo if you use a regional one.

03

What can be automated in shipping?

Order import, address checks, carrier and service selection, label creation, customs documents for parcels leaving the EU, tracking updates to your shop and customers, and return labels. Packing itself stays manual. The repeated steps around it can run from rules.

04

Is shipping automation worth it for a small webshop?

The sums are an example, not a measurement. At 20 orders a day, 90 seconds of manual handling per order is 30 minutes. At 200 orders it is five hours. Many shops start with order import, labels and tracking updates, then add carrier rules once that flow is live.

05

How is this different from a label printing tool?

A label tool starts when you open the order and stops when the label is printed. Shipping automation starts at the order itself, chooses the carrier from your rules, and carries on until the customer has a tracking update and the shop has the tracking number.

06

What happens when an order fails a check?

If an address or a weight is missing, the safe path is to hold the order instead of guessing a carrier. On a demo we walk through that custom workflow for your own orders. Zineps already creates labels and sends tracking updates for orders that pass your rules.

07

Do I need to give up my carrier contracts?

No. You can bring your own contracts and rates. If you do not have a contract with a carrier yet, we can introduce you to one of our logistics partners. Pricing for each route is confirmed on a demo.

08

Does it handle international orders and customs?

Yes. Labels and the customs documents a destination needs are generated with the shipment, to 200+ countries. Duties and rules differ per country, so bring your target markets to a demo and we will map them.

09

How long does setup take, and what does it cost?

Most shops are processing live orders within a few days, depending on how many carrier accounts and rules they bring. Price depends on order volume and the number of channels. Share your monthly volume in the form and we will go through it on a demo.
